Looking up from Moorgate with the Bank of England behind you, where London Wall crosses at the traffic lights. The building on the left with the plastic and the crane sticking out of the top is the prospective Moorgate Crossrail station. It is amazing the volume of work that is going into these major new stations. I will have to take the camera to Tottenham Court Road.

Walk a little bit further along the canal, under the bridge and turn left, and you will be able to look back over the incredible works that are going on for Crossrail. This shows the view next to the old footbridges that link platforms 15 and 16 for the tube and the rest of Paddington. Every day it seems there is a totally different scene here. I cannot quite believe that I will ever get to ride on Crossrail...
This was the second photograph I took on the first morning of this project.
